If you use Windows, you need to download and install the Adobe SVG viewer for Internet Explorer in order to run the madweave program. To use all the features of this program, you need to use the newest version of the Adobe SVG Viewer. Alternatively, you can get the Windows version of the Adobe SVG viewer or select it from the list of all the Adobe SVG Viewer downloads. Currently no version of Firefox on Windows runs the madweave program correctly.
If you use Mac OS X, you need to download and install release 3 of the Firefox browser. Currently Safari does not correctly run the madweave program.
On any platform, including Windows and Mac, you can install Java and then the Squiggle SVG browser that is part of the Batik SVG Toolkit.
